My name is Viktorija, and I am the Preschool Room Leader and Deputy Manager of Monkey Puzzle Regent Terrace in Cambridge.

What fills your heart with happiness about your role?

Sharing my passion with those around me and sharing my knowledge so the children can get the best learning and experiences at nursery fills my heart with complete happiness!

How did you get your career started in Early Years?

I started off as an Apprentice and have gained my Level 3 in Childcare. I have always enjoyed being around children and creating fun activities with them, so I knew this was the career path I wanted to take.

How do you get supported at Monkey Puzzle to develop and progress your career?

I receive constant guidance and support from the management team and take lots of inspiration from others.

What’s your potential next steps?

My next steps would be to continue developing my skills and knowledge as a Deputy Manager.

What would you say to anyone with a choice of early years childcare as a possible career path?

You need to be passionate about your career to enjoy it, even on the hard days.
